More than 100 children locked in prison in Sierra Leone were not forgotten this Christmas, thanks to Crossroads Prison Ministries.
Lahai Kargbo, director of Crossroads Sierra Leone, said his team was able to celebrate Christmas with 112 youth in two prisons in which they serve. The team supplied food, drinks and gifts for the children.
“We are thankful how the Lord used us to impact these boys,” Lahai said. “I was thankful to see their faces light up with great smiles as we gave them their Christmas gifts. For most of them, this is their first Christmas gifts that they ever received. The days were filled with smiles, laughter, dancing and fun as we spent time celebrating the coming of our Lord. “
