An estimated 2.7 million children have parents behind bars, but their stories are rarely told.
An estimated 2.7 million children have parents behind bars, but their stories are rarely told.
In an effort to give a voice to these struggling children, Google partnered with several nonprofits on a project called #LoveLetters. The project is a series of videos that feature children’s messages of love for a mother or father in prison.
The powerful videos capture the pain experienced by children left behind and the strong bond between a child and a parent that exists despite the walls between them.
Crossroad Bible Institute cares for children of incarcerated parents through its Manga Messiah Bible study courses. The lessons help children discover the love of God and learn more about Him through Scripture. It can also be a bonding experience for prisoners and their children as they study the Word of God together.
