Since launching two years ago, Crossroads Dominican Republic has experienced massive growth.
Dr. Luz Rojas, a medical doctor with a calling to prison ministry, and her husband lead a team of more than 200 mentors serving about 500 students. Crossroads Dominican Republic is currently training 200 new mentors to work in two new prisons.
What makes Crossroads DR unique is its holistic approach to ministry. They provide medical and hygiene supplies for prisoners in addition to the Crossroads Bible lessons and letters from mentors.
“How can we tell them that Christ loves them when they have unmet needs and pain?” said Luz.
